Thank you for providing this additional information. I agreed with the presentation she gave to the parents at my kids’ school, but I do not agree with promoting abortion for any reason. I followed the link to your site and was disturbed by the information. I’ll leave your comment on my site to aid your promotion. This is my main reason for posting this stuff online, to invite others to share their knowledge as well.

I disagree with 80% of Saleema’s DVD presentation. This is what she said on her DVD,”…we should be careful not to scare teens from having sex. Afterall, teens need to experience pleasure too!” Why on earth would I want promiscuity foisted upon my teen. Saleema’s website also contains lots of links to abortion clinics – Saleema assumes parents approve of abortion. The websites Saleema recommends also teaches teens that they can get an abortion without parental consent in B.C. Absolutely disgusting! There is alot of research linking abortion & birth control pills to elevated breast cancer risk. Saleema completely neglects to tell her audience this critical information. its about a woman , I think her name is aimee or amy . she wrote a feministic book that tell women not to have sex with men (at least for some time) . then she start dating a man who works at the radio and interview her about her book . she try not to break her own rules in this relationship

I think it sexual education is integral part of all kids life. The more we (parents) could explain, the better life (especially sexual life) our kids could have. Sometimes it is not easy to explain, some things are so delicate that parents are afraid to discuss about. Re: girls getting their periods earlier, prevailing theories suggest that it may have something to do with the hormones and preservatives in our food…the jury’s still out, though!
