My brother and sister-in-law celebrate their wedding anniversary today. From personal experience, I know how busy we can get with life, work, and kids. We always need to take some time to remember what’s really important.
This is a video of a song I wrote with my brother for him to sing to his bride at their wedding.
On this remembrance day, hold your family and friends close to your heart and celebrate the freedom you enjoy because dedicated soldiers gave their lives fighting for it.
Peace out.

Homelessness is a serious problem in many communities. The Tri-Cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody), a suburb of Vancouver, is working to build a temporary shelter for the homeless from donated specially altered shipping containers. All this great weather gives me reason to sing, and so I recorded a quick worship set that lasts about 10 minutes. Of course, it took several hours to edit on Roxio VideoWave, because the program kept crashing at the most inopportune moments (also, it does strange things with moving video titles.) Lift your hands and worship with me, to the video below.
Live worship from my in-laws’ porch
I left some musical space at the end for you to respond to the Holy Spirit in prayer and thanksgiving from your own heart. After all, He wants to hear what’s on your mind. I’m just here to help provide some “atmosphere”.

Hello! YouTube is an amazing place. Funny how, while searching for something else, something always finds a way to jump out and catch your attention.
Take this Umbrella acoustic performance video by an inspirational, talented, worship leader/performer named Cofféy Anderson. Just in time for Good Friday and Easter, or as we pentecostals like to say, Resurrection Sunday, yo.
Visit Cofféy Anderson’s official home page to find other ways to connect with him. I was going to list all his sites here, but he already does that, with more pizazz!

I was tagged on Facebook with this meme by at least three people. Fortunately nobody sent it by email because I totally hate spam. Not one to follow the crowd, I chose to ignore it and just let it die. But then I got the inspired to turn this excessive waste of Internet bandwidth into something constructive and inspiring—something that I hope will start a world-changing revolution.
Here is my list of 25 things that you need to know about me, with thanks to Pastor David Koop, who, over ten years ago, first introduced me to “Who I Am”, scripture-based affirmations of our true identity.
The Bible predates me, so I can’t claim any any copyright to this list. Feel free to share this list with anyone, print a copy to read daily, or post it on your own blog. Better still, compile your own list of affirmations based on what God shows you about you. In my introduction I said this list is endless—after all, it’s eternal! For example, here’s a version of Who I Am from Joyce Meyers’ website, with links to confessions, prayers, and additional scripture references “for a sound mind”.
